Card counting is a very important aspect not only for the Blackjack game but also for all other card games too. The basic theory of card counting in the Blackjack game is trying to determine the likelihood of the next card to come in. Let’s take a simple example – let say if a game of Blackjack is being played with one deck of 52 cards. In that case, when the game begins, the chance of first card being an Ace is 4 in 52. When 12 out of 13 cards are being dealt and there is no Ace, then the chance of the last card being the Ace is high. Now if there are 40 cards left in the deck and out of those 4 are Ace, then the chance for being an Ace will be 1 in every 10. Even though the casinos use multiple decks to stop the card counting, but a simple card counting strategy called “Plus or Minus” system can be handy
