Blackjack is a comparing type card game that is world’s most widely played casino banking game. This game is also popularly known as 21. Like all other casino games, this game to has a set of rules.

A standard Blackjack or Spanish 21 is played using one or more set of Anglo-American cards, which consists of 52 cards. The first and important thing is to find a table to play. All the tables should display the appropriate minimum and maximum allowed bets. The game is being played in a semi-circular table where a dealer faces five to nine playing positions – mostly it’s seven. A maximum of three players can occupy a single position, but a single player can take or bet on as many positions as liked. When the round is started, the bets are to be placed in a betting box. The betting box front position player will have the control over the position and the dealer will ask the playing decision for the hand.

Blackjack has an objective, which is to achieve a total point greater than the dealer but should not exceed 21. Even though there are other player on the table dealer is the only opponent.

The points on cards are – Pictured cards (Jack, Queen and King) each 10 points, Ace 1 or 11, choice of owner of hand and other cards their face value. Blackjack is a combination of an Ace along with any 10 or one pictured card.

One card is being circulated to all the players face up and to the dealer face down. This is called the “hole” card. Second card dealt in the same fashion. Now, starting from the left of the dealer players to decide to draw further cards. When all the players are done, dealer will take his turn to draw the card. If your total is higher than the dealer or the dealer goes over 21, you win.
